Join our legacy ride, BubbaFest Florida Keys, at the end of October, a journey spanning 41 bridges from Key Largo to Key West and back again. Pedal predominantly off-road on the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Bike Trail, immersing yourself in the beauty of the Keys while largely avoiding traffic. The Seven Mile Bridge just might be the most beautiful seven miles you will ever experience.
Don’t worry, if you’re not into biking on long bridges, we have shuttles.
Brace yourself for the Friday inferno where boogie shoes are optional…and you might be channeling KC’s iconic “I want to put on my, my, my, my, my, boogie shoes, just to boogie with you”….be ready to groove alongside your newly formed PAMPERED crew.
Our BubbaFest tour distinguishes itself through meticulous preparation and longstanding relationships with key venues. Indulge your taste buds in the diverse culinary offerings of the Keys. In response to popular demand, we’ve enhanced our 2024 package by adding the first night’s accommodation, a catered dinner, and Monday breakfast to the 2024 package price! To bump up the PAMPERing, we have taken the advice of past riders and decided to stay at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Marathon for four nights at the start and end of the tour. This strategic choice eliminates the hassle of so many frequent room changes and allows you to enjoy more time by the pool!
Tuesday and Wednesday nights the comfort threshold elevates when staying at the luxurious Oceans Edge Resort just outside the vibrant heart of Key West. As the ride concludes Saturday in Key Largo, we’ll give you and your bike a lift back to your car in Marathon, then you’re free to hit the road at your own pace.

Tuesday is a non-riding day allowing you to enjoy and explore the many fun things to do around Marathon. Search the internet and plan your day. Of course, lying around the great pool area of the hotel is not a bad option.
Optional bike loop will be available to those who wish to ride.

Bike 49 Miles East with likely the wind in your face back to Marathon

At the end of the ride you and your bike will be shuttled back to Marathon, anticipate a return between 1pm and 3 pm.
Note: Please be advised that all BPP bicycle vacations include daily options for reduced mileage. Prior to each days ride, typically the evening before, you will be notified about choices for the day (two shortened variants) and necessary arrangements will be made to accommodate your preferences.

Price Increase:
Due to industry trends in the hotel and hospitality industry, post Covid, we have had to raise our prices. Also new in the 2024 tour is the inclusion of your first night accommodation (hotel & a light dinner) in the tour price. Past customers consistently raised the issue and under new ownership we are doing our best to make the tour packaging more convenient and comprehensive.

Pricing is based on receipt of registration and deposit. Mail-in registration/payment must be postmarked by the early bird expiration date. Online payment must be received on or before the early bird expiration date.
Note: Double/Triple/Quad rate is only available to those sharing a single room with two beds.

What are the dates for Bubbafest 2024?

If I choose to fly, what airport should I use?
Miami International Airport is the best connected. It will be your responsibility to arrange transportation from the airport to the starting location. Prices for ride hailing apps tend to fluctuate. You can pre-book a ride day(s) in advance of your arrival \ departure.
Shuttle service can be arranged through Keys Shuttle. Check their web site for pick-up locations and pricing information. Make sure to inform them if traveling with your bicycle.
If you are flying out the ending Saturday, to assure making your flight, DO NOT book a flight before 5 PM if using the Miami airport and not before 7 PM if using the Ft. Lauderdale airport.
I will be driving. What can I do with my vehicle while
on tour?
Free long-term parking will be available at the host hotel. The parking lot is secure and we have never had issues with security, that being said the tour does not take responsibility for any potential issues associated with your vehicle.
Do I need to equip my bike with anything special?
All bikes must be equipped with a front facing headlamp and a rear facing red blinking light, which must be activated at all times.
Who is the recommended outfitter for bicycle rentals?
Riders must make their own arrangements for bike rental. These outfitters will bring the bikes to the hotel on Sunday for fitting, likewise they will be on site on Saturday to collect your bikes.

What type of surface will I ride?
This bicycle vacation is suitable for any bicycle type. Historically, riders have favored hybrids, road bikes, and EBikes.
How many bags can I bring and how are they moved forward?
Each rider can bring two pieces of baggage, with each piece not exceeding 30 pounds. Your bags will be taken care of in the morning by our staff, who will move them to your next lodging location and bring them directly to your room. That’s why PAMPERED is the name of the game.
I’m a vegetarian. Is that a problem?
Not a problem. That said, vegetarian is the only other dietary option available.
Are non-riders welcome?
We welcome everyone. Non-riders will need to complete the same registration forms and pay the same fee as a rider. A non-rider will be part of every aspect of the tour except the riding if they so choose.
What if, for some reason, I cannot finish the biking day?
No problem. If you feel you cannot finish the day’s ride, our staff will assist you and your bike to get you to the ending location. No questions asked. Some riders do not like riding over long bridges, if that is you its not an issue for us, we will avail service to avoid cycling over the longer bridges.
Alternatively, each evening before the next day’s ride we offered shortened mileage variants where we will move you forward and this way everyone ends at the same point.
